an oasis of peace and quiet on the vibrant amalfi coast

From Renaissance scholar Giambattista Della Porta to Italian writer Renato Fucini to Pulitzer Prize-winning author John Steinbeck, many of the world’s greatest literary minds have used their pen to profess the Amalfi Coast’s beauty. And though much has been written about this little corner of Italy, no piece of text, no matter how eloquent it might be, can quite compare to seeing the landscape first-hand. Casa Angelina is located right in the heart of a picturesque steep-sided coastal area, in the enchanting village of Praiano, between Positano and Amalfi.

The Amalfi Coast’s most convenient airport is Naples Capodichino International Airport. From Naples, you have several options.
If you are driving, head for Highway A3 Salerno/Reggio Calabria, before taking the Castellammare di Stabia exit and following the SS145 to Sorrento, then the SS143 to the Amalfi Coast. Alternatively, you can take the Circumvesuviana railway line from Napoli Centrale to Sorrento, before hopping on a SITA bus to the Amalfi Coast.
Boats bound for Amalfi and Positano depart daily from Sorrento, Capri, Naples and Salerno.
